Anyone made a neck with LEDs?

Not LED's but you can get glow in the dark inlays, I think they are called Luminlays or something. I imagine the biggest problem is going to be the cabling.

I have used luminlay, its good but not as in your face as proper LED's.

Two ways to do it:
* LED's at each location
*one LED with fibre optic cable to each location

There are some good tutorials out there, I will see if I can find one later. Basically you can put it all in channels on the underside of the fretboard before its glued on if building from scratch. Not too tricky compared to having to add them to an existing board.

There's a chap on the Basschat forum who makes and fits his own LEDs.  I'll try and find some links...

Lumnlay sounds a good idea. Individual LEDs might be a bit bright on a dark stage.

I'd be interested if you find one that you think is good, I'd like to have a go.
