That's exactly what happened to me. I had the 2nd of my CAR 57 AVRI's and bought some DG20's to drop in.

Day to day (I.e gigging) they we're intolerablely bright and scratchy. They were ok at home I think - but total junk in a band situation !!

TBH,

David has said many times in interviews the primary reason was to get rid of the light buzz from the enormodrome PULSE and DSPT shows.

But, and it's a big but, nothing does that era of DG like EMG's, mainly cos of the boost.
