SOLO of the Month #12 - Chat

Managed to find a spare hour yesterday so some pentatonic rubbishness submitted, did a few improvised runs and picked the least crap one . Spare time is a luxury at the moment so happy just to get something in, and I got a little doodle recorded for Raw Riff too, Sounds quality is better this month though, realised I could connect my Vox Tonelab to the laptop so recorded through Audacity.

Sent mine in. Tried to do a twin duelling guitars kind of thing, inspired by (albeit falling far short of) the first 2 mins of Julian Cope's "Safesurfer" - one of my favourite ever solos.

Right - just Raw RotM to do now!

Ugh. Just noticed how appallingly out of tune some of the first few bars in my solo were. I mean, worse than usual. Sent a revised version in. Hope that's OK!

me too, haven't had much time lately but still intend keeping up with these and the riffs at the very least.

I missed out this month too.

My first take was actually pretty cool up to about half way and I planned to record an ending, but missed my chance.
