I like the look of spalted maple tops in general. Is there any way to make the dark/light look more pronounced?

Not naturally, best to find a bit with grain you like, although be aware if its mainly orange with black lines and pale white patches the pale bits are likely to be spongey

Ok, just checking what the score was. Found some abroad on eBay, anyone in the UK likely to have any?

I might still have a couple of sets. not really fancy stuff, but as good as you see on many production guitars
