PRS Pickup Rewind

When I bought my PRS I had a feeling that I wouldn't get on with the HFS bridge pick as I don't play too much in the way of high gain / metal.

After living with it for a while I bit the bullet and stuck in a couple of BK Mules which were much more to my taste but didn't sound particularly great when split. and I really like the look of the stock pickups with the squared off ends and slightly domed tops.

So, I had a conversation with @Theguitarweasel and yesterday afternoon a rewound pair of pickups arrived:

They're wound as per his  Forces Sweetheart model  Fitted them last night and I couldn't be more pleased. Stupendously good in full blown humbucker mode and really lovely split too. I've got the David Grissom wiring for the split. The full bridge / split neck combination is wonderful clean with a touch of chorus.

I've had position 2 wired as per the Donahue wiring for a fatter out of phase tone for a long while and that sounds great too.

I had to build a jig to cope with the dome top bobbins, so anyone else who wants PRS rewinds is in luck lol.
