Well, when I say spec, I mean aesthetically.

I'm currently clear coating.

I am using a Mojo P90 and CTS TVT pots with a reissue Bumblebee cap as these are tried and tested and sound fabulous. The bridge is an aged Mojoaxe unit. so this is sorted.

I was going to finish this and put it up for sale but it's turning out so great, I'm seriously thinking of keeping it.

The traditionalist in me is thinking a Bone White Soapbar P90 with aged Amber Knobs and either no pick guard or a Les Paul style pick guard in Off White.

My good pals @woody_89 & @trotter have both suggested I go the 'all black' route, Black dog ear P90, black 3 ply junior scratch plate with black reflector knobs.

Or how about an aged nickel P90 Soap Bar and black scratch plate?

What other options??

I'd go for a full ES-295 look. Off-white pickup cover, gold hat box knobs and junior style pickguard rear-painted with the gold leaf design under cream.

I'd probably go with off White pickguard and either a nickel or white P90, something along this vibe.

Oh, and can I have first dibs when you decide NOT to keep it!

Hmm, I love the early Goldtop Standards with all black plastics.

So as a traditionalist, perhaps a black dogear, black guard and black speed knobs?

I'd love to stick a bigsby on a gold top junior and play some Neil Young tunes through a Tweed Deluxe.

    A nice tortoiseshell guard.

That or just that without the pick guard. Not keen on a plain white/ cream/ off white pick guard on a Jr so fancy or nothing.

Many thanks for the comments chaps, some great suggestions here.

I'm still tempted to go with something like this:

Although i'm wondering if the binding is a big part of the look??

    That looks so sweet...

You may well be right about the binding giving definition, but without is a minimal look that could work beautifully.  It is easy enough to modify the cosmetics afterwards should you want to.

That is going to be one honey of a guitar  :)

Just like the killer one you made for me...

If you're using the same gold colour as that of the Tele that you sold me, a mint green guard looks nice....
