Speaker cab baffle

This weekend I am finally buying the plywood to start making a speaker cab.

I want to make something like the 2x12 Mesa Rectifier cab.

I wanted to go 18mm ply for the top and sides and 15mm for the baffle and back.  I'm finding 15mm ply hard to find (at least in smaller sizes because I don't really need a full sheet).  If I ditch the 15mm, would I be better with 12mm or 18mm for the back and baffle?

    18.

It's going to be a heavy cab, but if you want to get the sound of the Rectifier cab that will help.

Cool, thanks.  I guess sticking to one size helps me economise on the materials a bit.

I might stick to the compact rectifier cab dimensions to keep the weight down a bit!
