Hi all, can someone tell me if the EHX Dr Q Nano envelope follower would work OK with a bass, or would i blow it up or something ?. I`m under the impression it`s only for guitar, (maybe because it`s only a tiny wee thing), and i can`t find anything on the EHX web site to tell me different.Cheers, Tam.

It's fine, but won't sound as good as the proper q tron, which has a really neat gain control.

That said, it'd sound pretty awesome anyway, as a basic effect and there are demos around of people using them for bass.

Thanks for that, i havn`t even got it yet, but i`ve got my eye on one on E-bay.

I didn`t want to buy it then melt it by putting the wrong frequencies or whatever through it. It`s only for my own amusement at home anyway so i suppose the outcome doesn`t matter too much, thanks again, Tam.
