Some new tracks and mixes

I've added some new tracks and mixes of a collaboration I'm involved with and would be really grateful for any feedback (especially the good variety). Cheers

What bit do you do ?

It all sounds pretty good, were they all mixed at the same place, some mixes seem a little better than others to me.

For my personal taste I would prefer the vocals mixed a little lighter, doesn't quite sit right for me,I like  more backing vox / harmonies, but thats just the way I work.

    All quite listenable though -;)

Cheers for giving it a listen. I've been doing the vocals and the mixing - this might explain how the vocals sit in the mix!

All mixed here but the guy who recorded the music elsewhere did that at different times and different ways/kit which I think accounts for a lot of the differences. His kit generally isn't great, and pretty much all recorded in to a Zoom 16 track recorder (except the vocals) but I like his music a lot, so decided to go with it rather than better recorded stuff I'd heard that left me a bit cold.

Yeah, I thinks it's always a a risk mixing your own stuff, but we have little choice usually . I tend to mix my guitars too low, then get told to turn em up !

Like it mate. The vocals are quite dry and loud IMO but that's nit picking. I think there's a really nice, distinct style there, like Doves, Elbow, Tom Vek and someone else I can't recall right now.

    Good work.

Cheers for the listen, @spark240 noted the vocals being loud too and having had a proper relisten you're both absolutely right. I recently altered the overall bass frequency in the tracks which was too heavy and I think at that time the vocals sat better in the mix than they do now. So I shall work on the vocals in the mix - thanks for pointing it out guys - really appreciated.
