Vintage PAFs for weight relieved Les Pauls

Just wondered if all you guys and girls who make pickups make any adjustments to them to compensate for the change in mass in more modern Les Pauls due to the weight relieving chambering efforts.

Is that even a thing you could/would factor into a build or design?

Nope. The weight relief is to get closer to old stock mahogany, as its often lighter. To then change the pickup spec would be counterproductive. Not that old PAF's or les Paul's are consistent enough to worry about it

Actual chambering has more effect than weight relieve/swiss cheesing and I would go for a lower powered pickup on a chambered guitar, and possibly a more powerful pickup on a heavy guitar. But there are no rules
