So, recently I played my mates strat that he had brought and it has a sanded neck. Ive never played a sanded down neck before but I found that It feel so much better for me, Now Ive sanded the finnish of my own guitar neck which went really well. But Im just wondering what I should use on it as Ive read if you sand the finnish down you should use some sort of oil on it. Any Suggestions?

If it's Maple, I use no finish at all, if it's mahogany, I've found Gunstock Oil very good indeed

I just wipe my bare maple necks down with Dr Duck's AxWax from time to time.

+1 for the Axe wax. Or Tru-oil is brilliant too.

All the right notes, not always in the right order!
