Quick earthing question

I'm sorting the wiring loom for my custom Jaguar build but as it is my first shot at wiring I've got an earthing question. Do I need to earth the switch casings and consequently the metal plates? I think I am sorted for the lower bout hexagonal plate but do the upper plate and control plate need to be earthed too.

Gut feeling is yes but looking for clarification

Yes. You can solder an earth to the switch body or use a solder tag between the switch and the plate.
