SOLD: Marshall AFD100 with footswitch and cover in great condition

Now discontinued, this really is quite a cool amp. 

Although getting the sound from a recording can be somewhat of a thankless task, this amp truly delivers on the AFD tone. Add a little reverb, don't slam the gain too high and there you have it. The range of sonics available obviously goes beyond that famous album and the gain levels offer a lot of options.

The master volume works very well to give a great sound at all levels, from bedroom to gig, and the two modes have very distinctive voicings. The #34 channel is based around the 'Use Your Illusion' JCM800 amp that Slash used.

A great footswitchable fx loop makes this a very versatile amp beyond just the obvious Slash homage. Tubes are in great condition and it comes with a cover.

I've played this through both a Suhr 1x12 and a Mesa 2x12 and it sounded wonderful through both.

I bought mine from Surrey too, IIRC about the time Wasting Light came out. Great amp - apart from the AFD tone there's fun to be had with the power scaling, #34 channel and using the FX loop as a volume boost for both channels. It doesn't make tea though, unfortunately. If if did, I would have pre-ordered, instead of buying second hand
