Ooh yeah, those are good. I like yours @Teetonetotal. There's a nice bit of bottom end on your tone too.

    Sent mine in.

Couldn't think of anything particularly different so I've just gone for sort of Carlton-esque, or as close as I can get anyway, vaguely inspired by various Steely Dan tracks and Donald Fagen's The Nightfly album. I think.

@Antique_Guitars - ooh nasty, I've done that. Hope you recover soon.

Happy to help out here (i.e. tracks, voting post etc) if that's of any use?

Ouch. Been there and dome that with the dislocated shoulder and know how much it hurts.

    I hope it's better soon.

First time that I've listened to one of these and really impressed with someach of the playing.

    Well done all.

I liked all those, great mix of styles and tone choices, all well played.

Winner: Gingerbbm there was bits that reminded me of Larry Carlton in there, so I had to pick you :-)

    Runner Up: Teetonetal

    Bronzed: BahHumbug

I really wanted a go at this one but been busy with other stuff and still got to do a bit more learning on how to do this.

@Bellycaster - there'll be a separate voting thread once the entries have closed (on the 26th) - so there's still time to enter if you want, and then the voting will happen on that thread.

Also the final playlist will include the tracks from me and @ChrisRG, which haven't been added yet. @ChrisRG is a past winner of the Solo of the Month - his solos are usually pretty good too, so wait until you've heard them all!

I think I'm actually going to give this one a go, even though the chord and scale chat has left me feeling woefully outclassed.

@antique_guitars Hope you get better soon.

Thanks @markv but am still doing last minute shite for going away tomorrow (whilst posting bollocks on here) ;-)

I need more time to sort out my Cubase though, have just upgraded and lots of bollocks to learn about importing and soloing over a backing track, I'm a newbie even though I've made some recordings, I'm still green with a lot of stuff.

Cheers though mate, I look forward to getting involved at some point. If the mods could move it to the voting thread when that opens ta muchly.
