I've probably got about 10 at home, but I always use the same one.  It's got Bugs Bunny on it.

And two others which I keep at work.  One regular size, one giant - which is handy, because I'm pretty much the only person who makes tea so I might as well make a lot.

That is especially brilliant because it's child friendly.  Think I'II get my sister one for her birthday.

Not so bad for mugs but my wife is obsessed with glassware. We have three different sets of sherry glasses, for example, which she only drinks at Christmas. Two sets of highball glasses, port sippers, martini glasses, Glencairn glasses, shot glasses of various descriptions (she never drinks shots), champagne flutes AND saucers, the list goes on and on...

Looks like we'll be able to do them for £7.50ea, delivered.  There'll be a proper thread when it's all confirmed.

(the don't come with the tea, that's just shown for illustration purposes).

The handles are too thin.  I'd break that in a week.  I'm assuming that because it's a cgi that it may not represent the true value of %handle and this may go up or down.

I have this problem. We have - at last count - 46 mugs in the house, not counting all the ones in the shed. The thing is, they're all stupid sculpted shapes, and we don't have a single one which is just a straight, plain, easy-to-drink-out-of mug. Every time I buy one, it magically disappears to be replaced by something shaped like a gnome and with a design only related to the activity of imbibing hot beverages in the most vague, passing manner.

I tried buying 10 normal, plain mugs once. It took her and my daughter about 3 weeks to gradually phase them out, as though they thought I wouldn't notice if they did it slowly enough.

I'll put you down for 20 of our theFB mugs.

Sneak them into circulation a couple at a time.

This is where a tube of super glue could come in handy.
Before you put on the dishwasher, glue half a dozen of the cups you don't like together.

Make sure your wife unpacks the dishwasher and then feign any knowledge of how the mugs became fused.
Suggest that the water was set too hot and the ceramic must have fused together.

    Job done.

@octatonic - that's a brilliant suggestion, and it'd be ideal if we had a dishwasher.
