I've been working on another project up until now but I had a session on the computer today and I have the nucleus of an idea. I'm still not sure quite which way it's going to go but it's good to have made a start.

I've had a session on the computer today (hours of fiddling about with VST synths - seems to be my 'learning curve' on this challenge) and I have an arrangement. It's slowly coming together, I need to record some bass and guitars now.

I've reached a bit of an artistic impasse with mine - I'm not sure what it's supposed to be. I'll try and have another session on it today. I have a backing arrangement but I need some inspiration for where to go with the lead line. I've built this one from the backing up but ... well, the title given was "Is there something missing?". The answer is 'yes' at the moment.

Oo, quite a few entries then.  Mine has mainly been done and is cooking gently on the back burner.  Still a bit of a way to the deadline, so no hurry.  I think I've cooked up something that only its mother could love though.............:)

Well, mines in. Ropey as hell as usual. Couldn't think of a decent chorus so I just added more guitar. Timing is not brilliant and hopefully it's just the right side of atonal. Having said that given the title 'put in earplugs' it was never going to be pretty

I have a track (of sorts). I've been lacking in inspiration for this one but kept plugging away at it. A bit of finessing of the mix (I mix as I go, so it's almost there) and a quick mastering tomorrow and it'll be finished.

I always get confused about this too. May I propose in future the deadline is set to 23:59 on whatever day the deadline is instead?
