Replacing tubes and bias

Hi, sorry if this topic has already been covered i used the search but it didn't come up with anything.

I have got a Fender Excelsior and i would like to replace the stock tubes. I know very little about electronics and i would like to know if i would have to bias the new tubes in the amp (if so i wouldn't know how to do this), but then i have also heard that it is cathode biased so i wouldn't have to. Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tim.

all the googles come up with cathode bias, in which case you don't need to set the bias

Are you hoping to change the sound by replacing the valves, or are they worn out?

    Definitely cathode biased.

Be aware that changing the power valves can alter the effectiveness of the tremolo.
