Selling the wife's handbags.

My wife wants to sell some of her collection of Louis Vuitton handbags, so given the diverse nature of the FB, I thought I'd seek your views on an alternative to eBay, which she doesn't like.

One of my relatives thinned down her handbag collection through a specialist person/website.  I can't remember if they bought it and then sold it on or if they sold it on her behalf and took a cut, either way she seemed happy with the service and didn't have to deal with any of the usual issues with ebay etc.  Let me know if you want me to find out what she did.

They had someone with posh handbags on Posh Pawn and they found a specialist to value them. Most of them turned out to be fakes. Anyway, there's somebody out there who knows about them.

I sold some stolen designer handbags I got on ebay.  People get finicky about lipstick marks and stuff.  Half of them I sent to Spain to ex pats.  They loved them.  I would have kept a few as they were pretty good quality but they didn't match my hair.

Having just been abroad to the capital city of fakes where any bag you want is available for £100 in amazingly high quality leather and accuracy why anyone would spend a grand plus on a bag is beyond me.

The fakes are amazing and I did buy a rather nice leather holdall.
