decent inexpensive headphones for mp3 player?

I normally use crap headphones for about £5. About time I bought something better. 

Any recommendations? something without an overhead strap, but ideally not one of those bury into your lug-hole things.

I tried a Sony pair in HMV the other day - they were about twenty quid. 

Best headphones in the shop apart from the Sennheiser Urbanites.

These days you might struggle to find anything decent that isn't either a full over-head headphone, or an in-ear plug style thing.

Sennheiser still make the PX100's for about fifty quid - my favourite portable headphones ever.

The major downside with them is that they are very open and everyone else can hear what you're listening to for miles around.

I have a pair of these. They are good but not that efficient so ideally you need an external power amp too. Which defeats the purpose. £5.00 things are like Bic biros - they work but no more than that. Budget £50.00 and make the salesperson in the shop work for their salary by demoing phones in that price range. Buy the pair that sound best to you. And buy from the shop that demoed the phones....

To be honest I'm thinking about £20-25 max. I only use them in the gym, they don't need to be amazing.
