My trusty Dell precision of 8 years has been struggling the last few months

Inspired by recent threads I started looking at buying a new laptop but soon realised that my machine is still pretty high spec(in terms of CPU, graphics and RAM) so anything within budget would be a downgrade.

So instead I hoovered it out, replaced the HDD with an SDD, clean install of Windows 10.

All went to plan :)

    SDDs must be the biggest bang-per-buck upgrade you can do these days. My 8-year old Mesh (bought before they changed hands and when they had a good reputation) now whizzes along.

    W10 isn't that bad eitehr.
