Sold Fs: Blues Junior in aftermarket Cab, Jensen speaker, reduced to £275

Fender Blues Junior rehoused in a really nice aftermarket cab (ply not chipboard), covered in Surf Green tolex and fitted with a Jensen C12N speaker (my preference, just like the laquered tweed ones have fitted). Fender handle. Tung Sol power valves fitted (very little use since they were installed).

Great amp, prefer collection from the New Forest but other options can be discussed.

£300.

That looks smashing - I wish I was in a position to take it off your hands. Is the cab larger than the standard BJnr - it's hard to tell?

Is it a quiet amp?  I had one a while back, was a bit lo-fi and noisy.

Very low level hum (doesn't every amp?). I like the clean sound of this amp. While testing for noise I found that the reverb wasn't very loud so I've changed that to a Ruby that I happened to have knocking about. Ready to go...

Just curious what difference in tone a proper cab makes? How would you describe the difference?

I guess I would say less boxy. The ply cab has some resonance which opens up the sound. The Jensen speaker has some influence here too.

Thanks for letting me know,that's very kind of you @vaticancameos. @downbytheriver - I'll wouldn't be able to get down that way for couple of weeks, so gives me time to sell the HRD. If I can't sell it, I'll probably try and sort something out with you anyway as this is perfect for what I want it for. Bear with me (though don't hold specifically)
