..people post a link to a video without any description of what is on it or what point the poster is trying to make. If you have a point to make, write it and if necessary add the video link to support your argument. I hate opening a video and not knowing what is going to be on it. And don't get me started on those thousands of Hitler vids....

I found out a while ago that the correct name for "...", or at least what "..." represents (the missing words) is called an 'ellipsis'.

Thanks @Heartfeltdawn, when I exited the video you posted, one of the videos offered was How to play The Pink Panter Theme.  Always enjoyed the Pink Panther.  Oh BTW, what changes to your system [hi-fi] sound did that cable bring?  Not a fan of Russ Andrews myself, but his company does sell some of those hard to get bits and pieces that we need sometimes.

I read the Eats, Shoots book a few years ago and was surprised it was legitimate punctuation and had a name. I use it... mmm...a lot...

I agree actually - a short description goes a long way. 

Same with threads that allude to something vaguely.

@Rocker - I'm with you, I have complained about this several times in the past. I have a simple response to videos with no other info, I just ignore them.

@EricTheWeary - that's an outrageous accusation.  If you knew me, you'd know the hours of work I put in to bear equality courses, bear-in-the-community, not to mention salmon-banks for the down-at-heel bear.
