Sorry I had to leave so abruptly, but I got a travel alert telling me that my usual 1hr 20 min train journey had just become 2hrs 20mins thanks to "engineering works" and a replacement bus service.

Just what you need at the end of day that started at 0530 ...

Next time I'm going to have book a hotel for the night!

I spent the evening with Lucinda. Excellent gig. Including encores, she and her band gave us 2 hours of songs.
Got home at 1.20AM, as it was 110 mile drive to get to the the gig (Newcastle down to Pocklington, which is a dozen miles east of York).

It has been a long and tiring day!
