Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

What's Hot
Eva Green, Samuel Jackson and Tim Burton. It'll either be brilliant, or complete pants. Hoping on the former.

When was the last time Tim Burton made a great film? I'm struggling... Corpse Bride? Not a classic. Sleepy Hollow? 1999!!!!

My daughter made me read the book, couldn't put it down so got right onto the 2nd and 3rd on release day.
Really great idea for a story... SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT

the author collated a load of old photographs and created the characters based on the images on said pics, a good story aimed at the teenage market, looking forward to the movie.

My son is really into fantasy books, so I got him the Miss Peregrine series for his birthday. He says they're brilliant; the film could be interesting.

Eva Green getting typecast in gothic horror flicks.

Wot ? No Mrs Burton ? Most odd.
Imagine something sharp and witty here ......

I despised Penny Dreadful but watched two series just for Eva Green.

I'm pretty sure I will watch this.  Cheers for the info.

Frankenweenie is excellent.  Maybe not a classic but is a very good film.

I HATED that film! Terrible in almost every way and none of the magic of the old film. The only thing I liked was Depp's look.

The trailer looks pretty good. I'm not much of a Burton fan, I feel that I should be, but for some reason his films don't quite do it for me. I did like Big FIsh, was that really one of his??
