I love this amp - it's possibly the best amp I've had (and there have been a few, incl. Rivera, Orange, lots of Mesas etc)!

 

3 fully tweakable independent channels with a multi-tude of voicing options. Switchable wattage (50 / 22 / 7), a whole plethora of outputs and interfacing connections. In addition to the 3 channels, it has a seperate boost control which means that you can switch between 6 different settings using the footswitch.

It's small, stylish and sounds awesome, whether you want high headroom clean, chunchy breakup, or high gain modern metal sounds.

It's in superb condition, fully working and comes with the optional padded bag and the optional 4 button footswitch.

No, I didn't buy the legacy. I'm not convinced I should sell this but am pulled towards the convenience of a combo.

As you can see, the condition is superb. The only real evidence of use can be seen on the footswitch which has picked up some scratches and scuffs along the way.

Just noticed, on the picture of the back, it looks like the footswitch socket is mis-alligned, please be assured this is not the case, but is due to the angle from which I took the photo and the fact that it's recessed - when you view it straight on - it's perfect.

Happy to include postage in the £475 asking price or knock a bit off for local collection.

Not thought this through yet but I don't suppose you're interested in a Mesa Subway Rocket Reverb 22W combo?

Had a couple of Subway Rockets and love them but I do find the 1x10 sound a little boxy for my taste. I think coming from a 2x12 set up I probably should aim for a 1x12 combo. That said, out of interest, is it the reverb version?

Yep, it's the Rocket Reverb. I know what you mean about the sound, I use it for rehearsals so weight was my primary consideration and it's really refreshingly light. I think the boxiness is mainly attributed to the speaker rather than the fact that it's a 1x10. I've been thinking of putting a Celestion g10n-40 in for a while now, as per ICBM's recommendation. Sounds awesome through an extension cab though!

Sorry for the slow reply @Maynehead - I've had quite a few messages about this today and forgot to reply to the thread.
Much as though I love the little Subway Rocket, I think the leap down to a 1x10 and the shift to a much simpler and less switchable set up might be a step to far for me at the moment. But, happy for you to tempt me with some pictures.... drop me a pm and I'll give you my email.

Yeah way more buttons, switches, knobs, rear connections etc than you'll find on any other of the so called 'lunchbox' amps. This is basically a full size head in a small box.
