Thr10 into a tech21 power engine?

jimboflojojimboflojo Frets: 122
Hi I was wondering if that would work? I've only played a thr10 at home but hear you can run them through P.A but has anyone tried running through a power engine or something similar? Would it be loud enough for small gigs and would/does it sound any good? Just looking at my options at the moment so wanted to call upon the collective wisdom here, be great to hear opinions and any experience with it. Cheers!

you'd have to use the headphone out..........and my experience of using that, is varied.

I have a THR, but to be honest this isnt something Ive tried or would want to.  I have other amplificuminationums for that

I think one person on the fora has tried it.....................

just because you don't, doesn't mean you can't

  • I only tried through a PA and it sounded fine to my ears. :)
No experience with the Power Engine I'm afraid.

Don't bother with a Power Engine the TM60 is only slightly more SH and is also an awesome amp in its own right.

  • Thanx for the info guys , I did wonder if it's worth it but I could probably find a decent combo that'll do the job for less. I had a tm60 for a while as it goes, was nice but didn't have it long enough to test it out
