Already have a replacement amp in mind, no postage due to the size so you will need to collect from just off junction 27 of the M4. I might consider a trade for the right Gibson Les Paul or 335, most likely a Les Paul traditional or one with a 50's neck, no 2015's though. Also on the radar would be a Gretsch Power Jet or Duesenberg Mike Campbell Starplayer TV

This is my Tone King Imperial MKI amp with original footswitch. This is the version one which does not have the Iron man attenuator


I have had more amps than I care to talk about, from the cheap to the boutique, and this one is right up there with the best of them.


For those of you who have never heard of them you are missing out on a treat. Potentially the best clean channel on the planet and the tremolo is head and shoulders above every other amp tremolo I've tried.
The lead channel is loud, crazy loud, to the point I've never had it past 2 when I've been playing out, but if you play big gigs then you might be able to really open it up and I've been told it is as good as the clean.


Amp is in excellent condition and is the most attractive amp I've seen, it just oozes class. There is a small mark under the handle which I've photographed but when the handle is down you'd never know it was there. Everything else is in top condition with no tears to the tolex, the odd very minor and impossible to photograph scuff maybe, but the amp has hardly left the house, so it's in tip top shape.

Only selling because I no longer need something so large and powerful (trust me, this is 20 watts that can keep up in any band, I'm not joking, it's hella loud)

Lovely looking amp! Is it based on a particular circuit?

The clean channel is a Blackface style fender clean, lovely thing, and the lead side is a marshall-ish copy, however it's so loud that I couldn't tell you how accurate that is. Personally I set it low so its clean and then hit my drive pedals through it as it has more control over the mids
