I have spent my entire 43 (and three quarters) years totally unaware of this man.

Suddenly the haze of the 90's doesn't seem like so much fun anymore when i realise how much of my life i missed by being totally wasted and having a good time.

Some of the Hitchens stuff on Youtube is awesome; it's not just what he says, but the way he says it.

His book on Mother Theresa is an eye-opener, as is the one on Henry Kissinger.

Sometimes he appeared to have been on a journey up his own arse, but he can be allowed such a luxury from time to time.
