    That's pretty much what I think
    You might as well just put something together yourself and get someone to bolt it together if you can't
    Even if you sell all the bits separately i think you'd get most of your money back.

    Or another good option is cs strat, you'd probably get one secondhand.

    My friends son has a fender select strat which is really good, for him not me
    It was about £1800 brand new.

    Paying £2500-£3000 for a strat is nuts to me.

    I agree for any in the £2.5-3k price... Except fender custom shops which hold value reasonably well

    Been a while since I have seen the new price of a bravewood, but I remember it being below £2k.... And good enough to get me mentally counting pennies in the bank even though I could do it all myself for cheaper
