In perfect condition (studio use only), this is the first model of Mark Bartel's Iron Man attenuator. Totally over-engineered, contains multiple transformers, it is actually quite a bit more advanced than either the Iron Man II or the versions he has built into his amp designs.

Crucially it has more steps, giving it much more control than the built-in ones, and unlike the Mk 2 will handle amps larger than 30w.

It can be used to match different impedances between different amps and cabs, and features two speaker outs and a variable line out.

It's a serious bit of kit. Still the best attenuator I've ever used, I just have no use for it at the moment.

I paid £650 for it, and it's still in perfect condition, so I'm looking for £300.
