Always worth making sure you are comparing identical quotes. The price to finish a guitar might seem fine... But does the price include taking apart, stripping, re-assembling and setting up. Is it a full strip or just an overspray. If it does include those things, do you need it to? often the main difference in price might be going to a luthier who does all the build stuff but probably pays someone else to paint, or go straight to a paint guy who does just that.
