THR glitch?

What's Hot

When I use any other setting, other than clean, there a high pitched whine in the background.
It happens with both my Tele and an HB guitar.
Have plugged THR in various places with same result.
Faulty THR?
Pups on guitars need shielding?
Anyone any ideas.

Is it from the amp, or the PSU?
Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.

That doesn't sound right, mine is quiet except from a little noise when using the hi gain settings.

My THR whines loudest on the lead setting.
Only guitar lead plugged in, whether guitar attached or not.

  • I had a similar problem when I bought mine.(sort of a weird fuzzy feedback kind of thing???) I phoned the shop and straight away the fella said go into the editor and turn off the noise suppressor. It worked for me!

The frst batch had power supply issues- if you bought it then or 2nd hand that might be it ...?
    Red ones are better.

Good point @TimmyO, you could try it on batteries to see if it improves.

It's odd as the the noise can be 'dialled' out of the amp. You should return it like the guy in the video. Mine doesn't make that noise.
