Help with pickups please

Guys any help would be greatly appreciated .I have wired up a scratch plate to a strat with three single coils & a 5 way selector & everything looks bang on & is working fine but my neck pickup stays on in every position ?? what have i done wrong ?

Wired it up wrong?

A careful trace of each wire contact should find it easily enough.

Without sight of what you've done I'd guess you've misread the connections to the switch and done it backwards, so the neck hot's connected to the "wiper".

Its Texas Specials ..I have all 3 black to the top of the volume pot & the two whites & yellows in the proper places according to the fender diagrams all tones the volume & in between positions work as they should but the neck stays on ..do you think there is something touching the wiper from the neck connection ?

There must be.

Wired backwards would fit the bill still though; if you look at the switch structure you can usually see the wiper quite clearly, they vary between some manufacturers.

Are you sure there's not a tin whisker?
