Very inspiring. I enjoyed the 2012 Paralympics more than the 'normal' Olympics.

My Daughter was born with no radius bone in her right forearm, and just a short, overly curved Ulna, and a fused elbow. I hope as she gets older that she will be able to take inspiration from people like this.

However... to play devil's advocaat, I did stumble across wheelchair tennis during Wimbledon.  That was not the best sport to 'disablify' or whatever the term might be.  It just highlighted the players' disabilities I thought.

The doubles isn't bad.  Not sure about the singles.

Amazing. Jaw droppingly impressive. I am disabled and I find doing "normal" things to be difficult - the abilities of those disabled people are way out of my league. And I suspect for most non disabled people too.

It's hard to say something without sounding a bit patronising but that was flat out awesome. The determination and skill to overcome really puts perspective on things.

My friends comment on facebook amused me: It's brilliant isn't it, only thing is it's better not to write you 'can do anything' on the Personal Independence Payment claim form otherwise the govt. will stop your disability payments!
