anyone got a netflix/smart tv problem?

I have a sony Bravia TV. All that app stuff has always worked fine, then out of the blue 3 days ago Netflix, Yutube and a few others won't load up. Very annoying! t'interweb is not much use for resolving thus far, although some have suggested that Sony servers might have a problem?

Anyone else got a problem?

Yeah - my bravia stopped playing Netflix films about two weeks ago. Thankfully I've got a backup source to watch from.

*edit* Youtube's fine on it though.

Smart TVs drop support for applications quite quickly. You are better off using external apps / sticks for the Smart stuff.

Had a similar problem with Amazon Prime on my Bravia TV at the weekend, and also on my Sony bluray player which is a couple of years newer. It's working again now, so may be a Sony server problem that's now fixed.

My only problem with Netflix is that it's shit.

I use my PS4 for all of that. Never had a problem with it.

My Bravia has gripes with Netflix.

Try unplugging you TV so it has a soft reset or do a hard reset of the app.

Go to settings at the bottom of your screen, click on Apps (this is on the row of icons saying TV), go to the Netflix icon under system app and clear data and cache.

Hopefully it should now work.
