Don't know where I'm going with this but I needed to sort out a temporary SIM contract and theirs ticked the boxes. Four visits to the store, three lengthy phone calls to get it sorted.
Complete shower of shit  :p I will never use the bastards again.

    EE is where it's at.
They've had some issues when first launched but I find them to be really good now.

    They are all the same.
All follow the money today trends.
If a company finds a quicker way to boost profits, the others soon adopt it.
    Technology in general frustrate's me.
So I'd raise your shower of shit to a rake of arse maggots and cock boils.

I'm with three and I've no quibbles...
Unlimited 4G data, decently priced and roaming is generally free.

If I were to go for a temp phone I'd have chosen GiffGaff myself...

I've tried 3 twice when living in different places and regretted it both times as the signal coverage was that poor I had negotiate early endings to my contracts.

Ill stick with EE as they may a bit more expensive but are better IMO.

Always been pretty awesome for me. I've been with them since 2003 when they launched and while they had a few signal blips in the initial years I'm getting stonking deals and great service too.

I used to work for a company that worked on behalf of 3 as them. Online related service was great, the rest not so much. Good value though.

I've had no problem with 3 customer service in the three years I've been with them. As for signal service it comes down to where you live. It used to be all about O2 for me up here, then I moved to Vodafone whose signal was appalling. Constant drop outs.
I moved to 3 and better than O2 so for me that's brilliant.
My work phone is on Vodafone. I often miss calls.

I have been with them since 2009 I pay 15 quid a month and get unlimited data and unlimited texts  never really have a signal issue and data speed is great,  so never really had a problem...... Unless I have to phone customer service....

we shopped around, the technology works but the customer service has been awful beyond belief - accidentally cancelling my order, generally unhelpful, trying to sell me stuff when I've called up to complain, how tediously slow it all is. The hassle for something simple has been staggering.

I'm a happy-enough Three customer. If you get a duff employee at the store or on the phone then your experience would be rotten, but every company has those (I'm looking at you, O2).

I've been on 3 for a few years - but only because I got a crazily good data tariff (unlimited 4G, and unlimited tethering (!) which I use a lot) . They don't seem to be able to force me off it (although they regularly dangle offers to get me on to a current plan - but I'd lose the unlimited tethering)

Things I don't like: old-fashioned voicemail (you can't see who they are from)  and generally less slick customer service. I signed my son up on O2 for his first phone a few weeks ago and they are WAY slicker (as I recall from when I was with them years ago)
    Red ones are better.

I use 3 for a mobile roaming hub when abroad. A new sim each time. Worked v well last 3 years. Don't know why getting a sim should be difficult, i buy them over the counter as 1 or 3gb package. Perhaps it's different for phone time.
