I think it will have a pair of Gibson 496R & 498T pickups I have spare from my Axcess for now, so the next part is to order some hardware and decide what colour.    I'm 50/50 between a trans black or iced tea type sunburst at the moment.

Thanks Dave - if it looks anywhere near as good as yours have turned out I'll be very happy.    Always a bit nervous describing the spec of what you want making but Graham was great and got it bang on - hopefully we'll have plenty of dry weather this summer so I can get it finished.

I used barreknuckles for this 2007 build. Probably he best sounding EXP ever imho. (pickups are with ebony covers)

That's pretty and close to one of the finish options I was thinking about - did you stain and sand back to show the flame?

Yes, the entire color job was done with aniline dye.

Except sides of course, that was nitrocellulose.
