Fully hollow thinlines (ES-330/Casino etc.)

I fancy a hollow body guitar with Firebird pickups in, so guess I need to make one. Where can I get the body/neck from? The only fully hollow guitar with mini humbuckers I can find is a rare, smaller bodied thinline: ES-390. Anyone got any ideas? Cheers

Epiphone Sorrento has mini humbuckers, if you can find one?

Firebird pickups are mounted in the same rout as soapbar P90s with a pickup ring so will fit in any guitar with soapbars

Thanks for the info, @Moss. That sounds encouraging, but presumably doesn't apply to dog-ear p90s like on the Casino / ES330 though?

Unfortunately not

Epiphone make a ES-339 with soapbars

Alternatively, several small builders including the Creamery, Oil City and Mojo do custom winds in dogear mounts. You can also rout your own out of a plastic pickup cover.

I had a go on an ES-339 yesterday (with sustain block) which was lovely. Suited me much better than the Casino Coupe I tried too, although obviously not a fair fight. Hollow or semi-hollow...hmmmm....

Stock Gibson mini-humbuckers and sunburst.
