I agree on switching off the the wi-fi, workd wonders with my son and XBOX live when he needed recalibrating recently. Problem is I am on BT Infinity and can't find a way to exclude just some devices, it's all or nothing with the BT Homehub 5 as far as I can see so I have to suffer as well!

There are access lists... I recall that they're clickable... should be options to block in there... I think.

There are also I think parental lock options

Under access control you can pick & choose which devices to block. 

Easy for devices connected by wifi as they're named, but identifying relevant wired connections can be difficult as they're listed as a string of letters/numbers. 

Easily sorted the issue of sprogs refusing to turn off at bedtime...
