My pedal board build

Ive tried this before. It didn't go very well. 

Sooooo... I tried it again. Nope, that didn't go well either.

Here I am, 3rd time lucky. My aim was to build a board big enough for around 7-8 pedals inc an amp footswitch. Working to a budget of next to nothing I start off with off cuts of 1" thick MDF, wood glue, screws and a counter sunk drill bit.

With the frame built I then set about sanding it flush and spraying it black. Next up... Tolex. What a tricky beast, yikes.

Thanks. Yeah I pretty much spent the money allocated for the skirting on the board.

Thank you! Home use only mate. I'm a non gigging player tbh so it's just a bit of fun

All the materials were left over from renovations so the only real cost was £15 on the tolex and £7 on the piping.

I thought the snakeskin was as good as it'd get, but the piping is the cherry on that snakeskin cake.

Looks really great, good work. 

Never really understood why more home use guys don't do stuff like this. Spending £50+ on fancy pedalboards when you don't ever need to carry then about seems silly.
