$50 for a boost and $200 for a posh wooden box with binding and a sunburst finish .

The only thing that surprises me is that Gibson haven't already done it.

It would look miles better without the 'Burst Boost' logo…

^ Yeah ) While I have to say that's a crazy price for a boost, the cosmetics (apart from that) have been done well, it does look pretty.

I wouldn't buy one but I like the idea. Been tempted to get a strat knob and bit of scratchplate to put on my stratoblaster clone for a while. 

These have a certain sense of humour to them. Better than your $300 handwired tubescreamers- at least it's a talking point

Both look fab, but I'd prefer the burst a touch more Lemon-burst.

Great bit of clever marketing IMO.

We are such an image conscious and collectibles obsessed society, so these FX and Ferrari mice for the PC, etc, are a great and fun money spinner for the guys that thought of trying this.  Not for me, but good luck to them, I think its a product well done.

I agree - it's a clever and deliberately 'knowing' bit of marketing, I think. They're well-made, too.
