SORTED (borrow) Cornish P-1 to try

as title says. Will deposit an amount deemed adequate by the lender in return of borrowing their Cornish P-1 to try for a trial period to see whether I'd like to buy my own from Pete.

Would appreciate any help you could offer.

PS, my buyers have never complained about me, so I can be trustworthy...but you have my money anyway, so...! :-)

I will be looking at keeping it for an evening or two maximum. I'll know pretty quickly whether it's for me or not.

Well, thanks to @rosski I managed to get a chance to play this lovely pedal, and he kindly sent over his CC-1 for me to try too.

I've ordered the P-1 off the back of that. It's got a clarity to it that I just couldn't get with the P-2 or other Muffs I've tried. Playing lead lines like Floyd's Sorrow always seemed too boomy and lacking in clarity, almost as if the signal was going in and out of phase. The P-1 doesn't do that. So it was an instant winner for me. The lead sounds just have a richness that I can't describe, but when compared to the more clinical Pig Hoof, it sounds a touch more organic/natural - a charecteristic synonymous with Pete's pedals.

The CC-1 was great too, again, has that signature Cornish "something"! I don't need it though as I love my RYRA Klone, so will stick with that.

So if anyone needs a Pig Hoof, let me know! ha

A lot of Cornish haters will scoff- but the P1 is utterly unmatched. It's a game changer in terms of muff/fuzz.

I've never understood the haters, Pete's been nothing but fantastic with me. But we're all different. His gear is expensive, but IMO, wholly worth it if it gets you the tone in your head. Which the P-1 did, for me. Simple as that really!

There's a lot to be said for this board and its members. It's a fantastic community. Big thanks to @rosski ;
and @garfy for offering up their treasured gear for me to try out, really appreciate it.
