The Ignore Function

Any chance you can make ignore work so when you ignore someone you don't even see threads they have posted?

No one in particular at this time, I've just been thinking about it for a while and thought that I'd ask.  It was this way on the old MR forum.

Also if I put someone on my ignore list they should be plunged into some sort of pit in real life.
