SOLD: Orange Rocker 30 head with padded cover, brand-new footswitch - £̶4̶0̶0̶ £350

Based in Carlisle, Cumbria area.  £400 dropped to £350.

This is in excellent condition, other than a minor tolex tear along the top of the rear (around 2cm and not wide open, so I think very much repairable), three few small rings on the top, around 1cm, which come from keeping a smaller head on top.  Full working order.  For info, it was last PAT tested March 2015.

The serial number suggests it was made in January 2008 (ends 0108).  3 x 12AX7s and 2 x EL34s, this is 30-watts of Class A goodness and can do a lovely range of sounds.  Cracking when cranking out an old school AC/DC riff but also does early thrash (with an OD/distortion), blues and even gets a nice jazz tone with my Midtown.

Comes with brand-new footswitch and a padded cover.

Just want to say, these are brilliant amps. I know they are praised for the drive tones but that Natural channel is quite something too - it highlights the differences between guitars and pickups more than any other amp I've played. It might only have a volume control on the clean channel but it really doesn't need anything else - it's voiced just right to my ears. I bought a VFE Rocket EQ to give me some EQ options but my favourite setting on the EQ pedal with the "Natural" channel is "off". GLWTS!

Thanks, @Beexter - agree with everything right there.  Sadly, it's just too much amp for a dabbler like me.  Happy to stick with my super-portable BluGuitar AMP1!

BTW I found that Winged C EL34s are the valves for this head. They make a huge difference.

I've read that, too.  I wish the wings actually elevated the bugger  Every time I hook up to it and step on an overdrive, I start to doubt myself!  I just can't justify keeping it, sadly.
