I like the old early sixties car and surfing songs like, Surfing safari and I Get Around  but Lady Linda has a special significance as that is my wife's middle name.

Warmth of the Sun, really evokes that summer feeling.

    Caroline No - fabulous.

In fact I really love most of the Beach Boy's back catalogue. =)

+1. Closely followed by Heroes and Villains and Good Vibrations. All perfect songs. Exquisite writing, visionary production and beautiful execution in all three cases.
This, although I'd put Good Vibrations ahead of Heroes & Villains (if that was meant as an order).

"Take these three items, some WD-40, a vise grip, and a roll of duct tape. Any man worth his salt can fix almost any problem with this stuff alone." - Walt Kowalski

"Only two things are infinite - the universe, and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the universe." - Albert Einstein

  • Hmmm. Later period less well represented here.

Any love for Sail On Sailor? (Not in the ooer missus sense of course).

  • 'Til I Die / In My Room / God Only Knows / Good Vibrations

Don't make me choose between them. I can't.

  • I like that Holland album @Skarloey - Trader is absolutely brilliant with its chilled out ending too.

I very much love Feel Flows from its inclusion in the Almost Famous soundtrack.

  • Of course one must be careful how late into the BB's catalogue one delves....

This one is for piss artists only.

God Only Knows is my favourite but I never really took to the Beach Boys. I realise that the guy's very talented but the songs have never done anything for me.

Yep, anything from the Holland album, but Forever is my personal favourite BB track.

No, no particular order intended, they're all equally good.

  • I'm sure if I played a bunch back to back this wouldn't come out tops but it's the only one I remember as a pop song in the charts and is the first that came to mind, so Lady Lynda.

As pure pop songs, Help Me Rhonda and California Girls are hard to beat.  But yes, I like Sail On Sailor too.
