New tele project - anyone have spare nitrocellulose lacquer!

Hi

I'm having a go at my first solid body guitar and I am making a sort of telecaster.

I'm quite handy with a saw and chisel (I'm a wood sculptor) and the body looks all right but I've got this mad idea that I'd like a vintage white body over a three-tone sunburst (I originally planned white over daphne blue, but white over a burst looks better).

I can find nitrocellulose lacquer just fine but it is expensive for a project that I'll almost certainly cock up (and postage is really high, too).

That's fine for the main Oly white bit that I can source from Manchester or Gloucester where I've seen online sellers based.  But I just wondered if anyone had some three quarters empty bottles or cans of yellow, red and black nitro going cheap for the sunburst bit?  I only need a small amount because I will just 'burst the top edge (which is the only but that will show through when I rub away some of the white top coat).

Thanks in advance.
