    Nice find. I'm slowly finding my way into early cooder and my, the fella is tasty. 
    Hooker should be recognised for his gift to modern music. Without him none of us would know how to boogie.

    As you might have worked out from my avatar I'm a bit of a JLH fanboy. That clip isn't his finest hour IMO and I don't think it's Ry Cooder's either. He looks tentative and a bit lost (not exactly difficult with JLH's penchant for 11 bar blues). They've both done much better work. Here's John Lee in better form with someone who can actually cope with his timing
