Periphery 3

So I've given this another shot and decided to buy it.

When the stream first came out I wasn't really into the first track and so didn't give it a proper chance.  It isn't all like that and I honestly think overall it has their best songwriting.

In particular I like these two tracks - 

Marigold: The arpeggios remind me of some video game music, in a good way.  Great chorus.



The Way The News Goes... - This has some awesome guitar playing in it - I've not tried to learn it but it sounds like something that would be very easy to screw up intonation wise if you didn't have great technique

I've never really liked Periphery, but I quite liked a couple of those songs.

The Pop-Punk vocals are a big obstacle for me though.

My favourite off the album is "Catch Fire" 

Play it in the car often, it's quite anthemic! "It sure is something when we all catch fire!"
