NGD : Feline

What's Hot
very happy with this, one of the best necks have come across. As you'd expect everything about the build is flawless. I'm guilty often of having all my controls on 10, but the range of tones available here is really impressive. Although it's got the traditional looks the playability of this guitar is sublime, as comfortable playing  some Django, Randy Rhoads and SRV on this as anything else I've played. Lovely light weight, very resonant body, really fun guitar to play and reckon this is gonna age beautifully.

When you acquire a good guitar, the combination of wood, quality of  pick-up and taper of the pots, will allow subtle yet effective changes so that the pot works effectively over say a 5-10 range - As such 5-7 becomes base camp and 10 becomes the boost - Like a singer can back off or belt it out, a good guitar responds accordingly - adds so much emotion to your playing - guys like Kossoff, Green, Moore, Beck, EVH, Santana are always playing with that knob (you know which one I mean) as this really is a 'TONE' Pot or call it an 'EMOTION/SOUL/EXPRESSION' pot

Looks  a cool classic guitar that can only years of pleasure

Oh yes. It's possible I may have fingered that one (apologies!) a few months back. He had two in production when I was there buying pickups. He strung one of them up while we were chatting. Looked, felt and sounded awesome.

VERY HAPPY NEW GUITAR DAY :)

  • Awesome!

    Love Feline.
How many of his guitars do you own?
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

  • Nice.

I've never played a Feline but I do keep looking at that Manta bass in the sale on his site.

I’m so bored I might as well be listening to Pink Floyd
