Just ordered this DVD as there are only a couple of excerpts on Y.T. I'm sure it will be well worth £22. Had to get it from USA though.

Paul Jackson Jr has been on soooooo many recordings, gigged and sessioned with the best of them.

I love how he plays, it's silky smooth, his technique is impeccable. 

There's something to be learned even from this small section, the way he makes slight substitutions of the outlined chords when he is strumming the pattern and he makes it look so simple when he breaks the chords up, having tried to duplicate that "taking the chord apart" bit, it's not quite as easy as it looks or sounds and more importantly, to understand exactly how he is dissecting it will take some study I'm sure.

I'm looking forward to getting some ideas from this.

I'm learning Never Too Much for my band ATM and I'm hoping to drop some of the runs from his version into it: 

He played a lot of the guitar on the most recent Daft Punk album.

I have learned this track, but only the strict Luther version, this one would be nice to do too, but would take much longer ;-)

I love the way he makes his octaves sound so effortless and gliding. It's not fair, I want to be this good (
